HOW TO GET TO CAMP WAPITI

Take Interstate 95 North through the Bangor Area, on to Millinocket and beyond 18 miles to the Sherman, Patten exit. Route 11 North to Patten, then turn left on route 159. Travel 10 miles west on route 159 to Shin Pond, over bridge take your first left, 1.6 miles of dirt road. Camp Wapiti on right.

For guests who wish to fly, commercial flights are available to Bangor. From Bangor, there are various car rentals, Hertz, Avis, etcWe can even arrange a private plane pick-up at Bangor to our private lake. For private pilots wishing to fly, Millinocket is the closest municipal airport. From there, we can arrange transportation to the lodge.
