Haven’t been to beautiful Camp Wapiti since Frank had it and it was wonderful then so with new fixing up, it must be really beautiful. Would love to come spend a week-end there.
I don’t know how to express my gratitude for such a wonderful stay at your camp last week. I hated to leave, as you know! It was such a peaceful, quiet vacation and the place was absolutely beautiful! I definitely plan on returning next fall. Jennifer, thanks for all your help in finding good places to hike. Ryan, I hope you’re feeling better. Thank God you’re living to tell about it!!
My very first trip to Maine (a place I’ve been wanting to visit for so many years) was truly memorable. You and your children are so fortunate to be able to live in such a lovely place.

We visited Camp Wapiti for the 2nd week of the Fall Bear Season in 2008. My husband killed his first bear ever and it was a nice one at 300 pounds. I joined him on this trip beacuse I wanted to see Maine; and that I did. We both loved it in Maine and at Camp Wapiti. The Shepard family treated us so nicely that we have remained in contact and feel as though they are friends. During our one week stay we had great food, warm & clean housing as well as good company. We highly recommend Camp Wapiti to everyone who wants to takes Maine Bear Hunt or even a relaxing vacation. Our next trip C.W. will be for a snowmobile trip and we can hardly wait.
Thanks for all the wonderful hospitality! It is a beautiful and peaceful area. Thanks for helping me with my first bear. I hope to do it again next Spring.
We love your place and your kindness, understanding. We will miss you this year because of my illness but can not wait to see you guys next hunting season.
For anybody wants a place to relax or hunt this is the place to go.

Anyway, the food and cabin made it worth the money. We appreciated the services and everyone there. It’s a nice operation you’ve got there.
