Welcome to our Camps and Lodge where your Maine vacation and hunting dreams are fulfilled. Whether you are on an adventure or just getting away, Camp Wapiti is the place to be for families, groups, and individuals. Come on in and see.

Camp Wapiti is approximately 100 miles north of Bangor and only 22 miles from Interstate 95. On your arrival however, you will realize Camp Wapiti is truly “where the road ends and trails begin”. Camp Wapiti has been serving sportsman and their families since 1912.

We are the only camps on the lake with individual log cabins of varying sizes nestled around the shore. Mount Katahdin, with its snowcapped peaks, can be seen right from our porches. All cabins have wood heat, electric refrigerators, and complete baths with hot showers. All bedding and towels are provided for your convenience. Enjoy our inground pool and outdoor hottub.

While looking out across the lake at Mt. Katahdin enjoy being in our rustic central dining room that has a large stone fireplace where we serve our guests home cooked meals – FAMILY STYLE from Wapiti’s own kitchen. Thus we can please everyone, even the hearty eaters!

All guests of Camp Wapiti have full use of all on-site amenities; Boats, Pool, Lake, Hottub & Fishing (with a license only).  We are in the Patten/ Shin Pond Maine area.
